Troop 163 is a Scout-run troop; The scouts organize the meetings, events,
hikes, campouts, etc... We have many leadership opportunities for scouts. Each
year, we spend at least 1 week at a summer camp, and at least 1 high-adventure
type event (such as the 50 mile backpacking trip around Yosemite). We go on many
hikes and campouts, and also give back to our community by doing lots of
community service at The Relay for Life and the homeless shelter.
Our corresponding cub scout pack is Pack 163. The troop does many
activities that interact with the pack, such as the second-year Webelos bridging ceremony and attending pack campouts.
